2026 100 Day Project -Days 50-56

And we’ve made it beyond the halfway point!

This past week felt much better than the previous one.  Life seemed a little calmer.  I don’t know if it really was, but perception is reality.  Lol!  I looked forward to and enjoyed the daily time of meditation while making each of this week’s collages.

Several messages came to me while creating during these last seven days.  They are that: 1) it is not wise to make hard and fast judgements and 2) much beauty comes from embracing imperfection.  I keep reminding myself that the bits and pieces that I am using in each of these meditations are coming from essentially my scrap pile.  At some point, I had deemed them as a discard or not good enough.  This is true particularly of the pen sketches.  Most of them are a first attempt at something that I eventually drew “better.”  And most of the painted pieces are swatches, practice pieces, or paper where I was cleaning off a brush.  Yet, each of these discards comes together  purely through synchronicity creating something beautiful and whole.

That is what happens with human relationships as well.

I am fortunate to have a small but mighty circle of friends that helps to make me feel valuable and whole.  None of us is perfect, but we all bring something to the circle that makes  it far stronger and unbreakable than it could be without all of us.  With no beginning and no end, the circle is the perfect shape.

As you scroll through each of this week’s Meditations, take a moment to visually isolate the individual pieces.  Think about the role or contribution of each to the overall collage.  Which piece makes you think of yourself and your role in your circle?

As always, thank you for following along with my 2026 100 Day Project.  See you next week.

  1. You really outdid yourself this week. These are beautiful. Each one I thought was my favorite, I was drawn to the blue with the pink, and then I saw the blue and green. I will need to keep studying these because I can’t seem to narrow it down to just one. 💙
