Well, this was a week of learning!

I learned:

• My project this year is not conducive to traveling.
• I was in Las Vegas for about 36 hours.  The trip was part of our 60-65 year of celebration.  The main event was to see The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere.  AMAZING!  In addition to that we managed a day of work, a little sightseeing, some good food, and a positive return at the roulette table.  And, no art time.
• I did an extra day of collage before I left and then two the night I got home to get caught up.  It wasn’t the same as making one a day.  The collages done in the early part of this week weren’t meditative at all.  It was more like just get something done so I don’t fall behind.  I didn’t like that feeling; it definitely defeated my purpose for this particular project.
• Traveling during Holy Week was probably not my best plan either.  I returned from Vegas in time to sing with the choir each night of the Triduum.  My creative rhythm was totally disturbed last week!
• I learned that despite it all, you just keep going and hope to get back on track sooner rather than later..
